BGMI Master Series Season 3 (BGMS) Final is here, and it’s shaping up to be an epic showdown. Let’s break down everything you need to know about this thrilling event:

1. Introduction to BGMI

BGMI (Battlegrounds Mobile India), often called “India Ki Heartbeat,” is one of the most popular mobile and eSports games in India. It’s the only eSports game in India broadcast on National Television. The BGMI Master Series is unique as it’s the only eSports LAN Event featured on Star Sports & YouTube.

2. Event Details

The event kicked off on July 19, 2024, and will continue until August 11, 2024, at the NODWIN Gaming Arena in Delhi NCR. The tournament boasts a huge prize pool of ₹10,000,000 INR (around $119,780 USD).

3. Final Match Dates, Timing, and Maps

After 20 days of intense battles and emotional moments, the highly anticipated BGMI Master Series final starts today at 6:30 PM IST. Watch live on Star Sports or YouTube. For the next 3 days, 16 teams will compete on three maps: Erangel, Miramar, and Sanhok.


4. Event Format

The BGMI Master Series 2024 follows a four-stage format:

  • Opening Week: From July 19th to July 21st, 24 teams competed. Among them, 20 T1 teams were invited, and 4 teams (Team One Blade, Carpe Diem, Vasista Esports, and Vikings Esports) qualified through qualifier matches. After 3 days, 18 teams advanced to the League Stage. The remaining 6 teams had 2 teams, Team Z and GodLike Esports, selected via fan votes, while 4 teams were eliminated.
  • League Stage: The League Stage involved 20 teams from the Opening Week and lasted for 2 weeks. After 14 days of competition, the top 4 teams (Reckoning Esports, Global Esports, Carpe Diem, Gods Reign) qualified directly for the BGMS Final. The remaining 16 teams moved to the Playoffs.
  • Playoffs: In the Playoffs, 16 teams fought for 2 days to secure the top 12 spots. Team WSB Gaming led, followed by TeamXpark. We saw a comeback from GodLike Esports after a 2-year hiatus, securing a spot in the LAN Final, along with Carnival Gaming and Team Soul. Unfortunately, Team Z, Vasista Esports, Team Forever, and Revenant Esports were eliminated.
  • Final:Starting today, the Final features the top 16 teams out of the original 24. Over the next 3 days, these teams will battle for the trophy and ₹5,500,000 INR. This is their last chance to showcase their skills and secure victory.
